This proposal calls for separate formal votes of the faculty and professional staff to provide further guidance to the Senate and its constituents in deliberations regarding the 14 versus 15-week options on the semester calendar. The results of these referenda will be shared with the entire campus community. Senators will then be asked to receive new direction from their constituents as to whether to revisit the Senate decision on this matter.
