The Senate adopts the following amendment to the Bylaws.

A.5.a A proposal may be introduced by any member of the Senate. It shall be submitted in writing to the Senate Officers at least 15 days prior to the meeting at which it is to be presented. A proposal sent from a Senate Committee shall go to the Senate Officers, who will either forward it to the Senate or refer it to the Executive Committee; in the latter case, the Executive Committee will either forward it to the whole Senate or refer it to one or more Senate Committees. A proposal from outside of the Senate will be sent to the Senate Officers, who will send it to an appropriate Senate Committee or to the Executive Committee; in the latter case, the Executive Committee will either forward it to the whole Senate or refer it to one or more Senate Committees.
