The following guidelines are for employees who are not eligible for Senate constituency as defined in Senate Bylaw C.1., and who want to petition to become a constituent.

Michigan Technological University employees with a minimum of nine months, 3/4 time, or employees who demonstrate a long-term commitment to the University through more than five years continuous employment or a cumulative 10 discontinuous years employment.

The following individuals are not eligible to petition for Senate constituency.

1. Members of a union.

2. Full-time students.
