INVESTIGATION OF THE SENATE PRESIDENT

The Senate shall elect by secret ballot a committee of five senators and/or alternates who did not serve as senators, alternates, or members of the finance committee in 1994-95. The charge to this committee is to investigate charges against the Senate president involving violations of the Senate constitution/bylaws, violations of due process, misrepresentations to the Senate, conflict of interest, suppression of committee actions, and related matters. The committee is to investigate all such charges known to them by a process including reviewing all relevant documents and meeting with the individuals involved. The committee should submit a report to the Senate and recommend appropriate action no later than the end of the first week of winter quarter 1995-96.
