PROPOSAL 9-78

AUDIT GRADES

BACKGROUND:

This proposal is a revision of Senate Proposal 6-78 which was adopted by the Senate on December 7, 1977

PROPOSAL:

  1. A grade of V (audit) shall not be automatically recorded for all students auditing a course. The instructor shall report of grade of V for a satisfactory audit or U for an unsatisfactory audit.

  2. A course taken as an audit may be taken at a later date for credit subject to the approval of the student's major department.
