In recognition of the increasingly important role of Community Colleges in higher education in Michigan and the importance of closer coordination of programs of students who transfer to MTU from community colleges, the Senate recommends that the University make provisions for early admission to Michigan Tech of qualified students in community colleges and that their programs of courses at the Community College be coordinated through MTU degree granting departments.
