Proposal 10-10
(Voting Units: Academic)
“ADDITIONAL
BACCALAUREATE DEGREES”
(Amendment of
Proposal 8-08: Second Baccalaureate Degrees)
Background
Proposal 8-08, Second Baccalaureate Degree, established policy and
procedures enabling a student who has earned a baccalaureate degree at Michigan
Tech to earn a second baccalaureate degree.
This amendment clarifies policy and procedures to enable a student
to earn more than one additional degree by repeatedly following the guidelines
for obtaining a second degree under the previous policy.
The amendments needed to accomplish this require substituting the
word "additional" where the word "second" is used in
Proposal 8-08, with appropriate alterations for grammar.
