About our interest groups
Our Interest Groups are part of the livelihood and appeal of the University Women's Connection. They are a place to meet other women of our area who share similar interests, hobbies, and concerns.
Membership in these Interest Groups is open to all women in the area who are members of the UWC. The UWC originates and sponsors the groups it offers in order to provide more opportunities for its members to socialize and develop their individual interests and skills. They also serve to help newcomers find a niche in our community.
We are always open to suggestions for new groups. But in all our Interest Groups you'll find other area women who are friendly and share a fondness for something you may be interested in also. As you complete your membership form, please complete the Interest Group portion as well to help us facilitate your involvement in those groups.
If you have ideas for a new Interest Group (not already listed on your membership form) that you'd like to see made available for sign-up at our Fall Kickoff Meeting, or if you have any questions, please contact Sangita Goel.
