About Us
Our members continue the tradition of community service as volunteers and board members on human services agencies throughout the area. Members support our ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND to provide scholarships for qualified female students at Michigan Technological University, and welcome new families to the area by encouraging their involvement with our Newcomers Interest Group. What has remained a constant throughout our history are the lasting friendships linking our members and their families, forged by the enjoyment of shared interests and purpose.
All women in the local area who support our purpose are welcome.
Mission: The University Women's Connection provides opportunities for women in the Copper Country to meet in fun and friendship, to develop interests, and to use their many talents in service to the community.
Vision: University Women's Connection welcomes newcomers, promotes lasting friendships, links members and their families, promotes the sharing of interests and purposes, and provides annual scholarships for qualified female students at Michigan Tech.
