The Senate recommends that the Board of Control Policy Manual, section 17.2.2, be amended as follows. In addition to the grading system described therein, the grade of "Q" be added, accompanied by the following description:
P - Progress; may be used for 500 or 600 series research courses and approved 300 or 400 level project courses where projects carry over for more than one semester.
Q - Inadequate Progress; may be used for 500 or 600 series research courses and approved 300 or 400 level project courses where projects carry over for more than one semester.
