The Senate recommends that item A under "TIAA-CREF Retirement Health Care" in section 6.3.1 of the Faculty Handbook (May, 1996) be deleted. We further request that in the spirit of shared governance, the Senate and the Senate Benefits Committee be informed of, and participate in, all decisions regarding benefits.
