1. Course offerings as listed in the University catalog for a given academic department shall include only those courses administered by that department.
   
   
2. Course offerings as listed in the University catalog for a given academic department shall be identified by the assigned departmental code letters.
   
   
3. If a department allows students to substitute a course from another department for one of its courses, it shall place such information in the catalog.
