TO CHANGE THE WINTER QUARTER 1976-1977 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

That, in view of the shortage of Thursday and Friday class days this Winter Quarter, and the consequent hardship inflicted on students having once-a-week classes on those days (e.g. recitations in CH 101 and CH102), it is proposed that a Tuesday and a Wednesday in one week of this quarter be designated Thursday and Friday, respectively, in terms of class scheduling. Winter Carnival break is the suggested week, since its Thursday and Friday are, in any case, not available for instructional purposes.
