“Proposal to Shelve
EMPD Product Design Minor”
Proposal to Shelve a Program June 2013
The MEEM Department proposes that the following program be shelved:
EMPD
Product Design Minor
The final term the program will be open for new admits will
be Fall 2012.
Currently enrolled students and any returning students who
are currently in the program will be accommodated by course substitutions if
required.
This minor was in place as part of the General Motors
Undergraduate Distance Learning program (BSE). That program has been
discontinued. As a result many of the courses that supported that minor are no
longer taught.
There is no financial impact to the department or the
university.
