The University Senate
of Michigan Technological University
Proposal 21-12
(Voting
Units: Full Senate)
“Proposal to Amend
the Senate Bylaws”
Background:
The Senate
Bylaws have not been updated since December 2008. There have been changes in department names
and the representation units since that time so it is necessary to reflect
these changes in the bylaws. The
detailed breakdown of the units is on the website and in the Senate office. The order in part C has been changed but the
content, apart from correcting the name for the GSG, is identical.
Proposal:
The
following strikethroughs and changes in red are requested.
