The Senate adopts the Minor in Applied Geophysics as described below.
The applied geophysics minor allows students to understand how the principles of physics and signal processing can be used in investigating Earth structure, in the search for natural resources such as petroleum and ore deposits, and in helping to detect contaminants in the natural environment. Not available to applied geophysics majors.
