The Senate adopts the following calendar for the 2002-2003 academic year.

Fall Semester 2002
August 19-25, Monday - Sunday Orientation
Week 1 August 26, Monday Instruction begins
August 30, Friday 4:00 p.m. Last day to add fall semester courses or change a section
August 30, Friday 4:00 p.m. Refund period ends for courses dropped affecting fee bracket or lab and special course fees
August 30, Friday 4:00 p.m. Last day to change majors effective for fall semester
August 30, Friday 4:00 p.m. Last day to withdraw from school for 90% refund
August 30, Friday 4:00 p.m. Financial aid full-time status established as of this date
Week 2 September 2, Monday Labor Day Recess
September 6, Friday noon K-Day Recess
September 6, Friday Last to withdraw from school for 80% refund
September 6, Friday Last day to drop Part of Term A - without a grade
Week 3 September 13, Friday Last day to drop fall full semester courses without a grade appearing on the academic record
September 13, Friday Last to withdraw from school for 70% refund
September 16 - October 18 Courses dropped during this period will appear on the academic record with a grade of "W"
Week 4 September 20, Friday Last day to drop Part of Term A - with a grade of "W"
September 20, Friday Last day to withdraw from school for 60% refund
