For information about joining the Huskies Pep Band, Michigan Tech Concert Choir, Wind Symphony, Jazz Lab Band, R&D Big Band, Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, and small ensembles including Jaztec and Momentum Jazz, contact the Fine Arts Office. (The KSO and Concert Choir are open to both students and community members.)
  • University Theatre—From comedies and classics to musicals and experimental theatre, the department stages a variety of productions. Fine Arts also sponsors The Troupe, a student improv ensemble, and Michigan Tech Dance.
  • Visual Arts—Students from many different majors enjoy courses in watermedia, drawing, graphics, three-dimensional design, and sculpture. In addition, the visual arts program offers opportunities for students to exhibit their work.
