Michigan Tech Honors Graduates

Michigan Tech will honor the achievements of more than 350 graduates at Midyear Commencement ceremonies, set for Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Student Development Complex.
A total of 261 bachelor's degrees are being awarded at the end of fall semester, as well as 10 associate in applied science degrees.
Sixteen students will be receiving their PhD. A total of 70 master of science and seven master of engineering degrees will also be awarded.
The ceremonies will include a special remembrance of Derek Juntunen, who died Dec. 5. He was scheduled to receive his BS in Scientific and Technical Communication with high honors at Midyear Commencement. Juntunen's family members will receive his diploma in his stead.
