APRIL 21, 2004 -- Michigan Tech's annual spring football game is set for Saturday, April 24, at Sherman Field with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
The event is the culmination of three weeks of drills for the Huskies. A group of 75 players on the Tech roster will take part in the intrasquad contest.
"I'm sure our players are looking forward to the game," said Head Coach Bernie Anderson, who will begin his 18th year at Michigan Tech in the fall. "It should be a fun day for the fans to get a preview of next year's team."
The spring game is open to the public and free of charge.
Michigan Tech will open its 2004 season at home on Aug. 28 against Northern Michigan. The Huskies return 20 starters from last year's team. |
