NOVEMBER 6, 2003 -- A nationally recognized hockey historian will speak on the history of professional hockey in the Copper Country during a presentation at Michigan Tech.
The presentation, by Bill Sproule, will take place Tuesday, November 11, at 7:00 p.m., in room 641 of the Dow building on campus.
While Sproule is an associate professor of civil engineering at Michigan Tech, he also teaches a course on hockey history and has become an expert in that area. He will discuss the Copper Country's role as the birthplace of professional hockey almost 100 years ago.
