DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN OFFERED FOR SOUTHEAST ASIAN STUDENTS
HOUGHTON-Uncertain economic conditions in Southeastern Asia have prompted Michigan Tech to offer a deferred payment plan for students of that region.
Self-supporting students from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand can opt to defer payment for spring and summer quarter tuition, University housing, and general fees until August 31, 1998 without late fee charges.
Although this deferment plan is available, the University encourages students to apply for on-campus employment or to seek authorization from the Immigration Service for off-campus employment.
In accordance with University policy, transcripts will not be issued until full payment is received. Payment must be received by August 31.
Payment deferral forms are available at the International Services Office, Room 135 Administration Building, and should be returned as soon as possible.
