Michigan Tech and the Sturgeon/Otter River Watershed Council will hold
watershed information sessions this month to encourage public participation
in on-going watershed planning efforts.
The first session will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at the
Doelle Senior Citizen Center in Tapiola and will focus on watershed hydrology
and ecology. The second session will be at the same location Thursday,
Nov. 30, 7:00-9:00 p.m. and will cover social and economic issues associated
with watershed planning.
The public information sessions are part of a watershed education program
sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. For more information,
