HOUGHTON--Author Juan Roberto Job (pronounced Hob), described as one of the nation's leading speakers on cultural diversity and change management, will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month observances at Michigan Tech with a presentation Thursday, Sept. 14, at noon in room 642 of the Dow Environmental Sciences and Engineering Building.

His presentation, which is open to the public at no charge, will be based on his best selling book, "Just Because I'm Latin Doesn't  Mean I Mambo." The book is a success guide for Hispanic Americans that focuses on blending the unique Latino culture with the realities of corporate life.

Frequently featured as a keynote presenter, Job also conducts educational and motivational presentations and workshops throughout the United States geared to Hispanic executives, students, and business leaders. His talk will combine practical advice and motivational tips from successful Hispanic executives to help Latinos break through cultural barriers and stereotypes and rise from junior to senior management.
