HOUGHTON, MI--Michigan Tech will hold a Co-op/Internship Job Fair February 17 in the SDC Basketball Gym from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Companies expected at the event, the first of its kind at MTU, include Bemis Curwood, Borg Warner, Briggs & Stratton, Delphi, DNR, Ford, GM, IBM, Kimberly Clark, Mead, Mercury Marine, Rockwell Collins, Seagate Technology,US Steel and many more.
"We expect this to be the first of many to come," says Jim Turnquist, Associate Director for Career Services. "We anticipate over fifty companies to attend, and we want this to become a tradition. It is great opportunity for students to get both a co-op and/or summer internship."
There is no pre-registration for the event, but students are encouraged to dress-up and bring a resume, because some companies may be offering on-site interviews. This event is being sponsored by the Career Center.
