A brown bag discussion with Cindia Cameron, National Organizing Director of 9to5, National Association of Working Women

Join Cindia Cameron for a brief presentation and informal discussion on contemporary workplace policies and best practices. Cindia will explain the 9to5 Rate Your Job survey. The survey rates workplace policies ranging from good to downright unbelievable in three categories, including pay & benefits, work & family, and fairness & respect. Cindia will also talk about the 2000 edition of 9to5s "Profile of Working Women" to describe best practices and how to advocate for them.
9to5 is a national nonprofit association of working women dedicated to grassroots efforts to end workplace discriminations, improve wages and working conditions, and expand family-friendly policies. Cindia Cameron coordinates 9to5's national program campaigns, directs national organizing and hotline staff and provides leadership and program development assistance to local chapters across the country. As a media spokesperson, Ms. Cameron has been quoted in numerous publications including the New York Times, Mademoiselle and the Atlanta Journal Constitution in stories ranging from workplace monitoring to work/family issues.
