Presented by 9to5 National Organizing Director
Cindia Cameron
When: Wednesday, May 10, 2-4 pm
Where: Wadsworth Hall Annex, next to Campus Cafe
Constant change and rapid transitions are part of work life these days, even at MTU. Cindia Cameron comes to MTU to help make sense of it all. She will talk about women and work in the new millennium and share strategies for affecting workplace policies and practices. Shell also share information from the 2000 edition of 9to5s statistical "Profile of Working Women," and from "Ask a Working Woman," a national study conducted in 1999 and 2000 by the Working Women Department of the AFL-CIO. Take a look at what American working women say are the critical issues and promising directions for workplace change and bring your own issues and ideas.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to this stimulating and interactive presentation. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Come as you are and stay as long as you can.
Cindia Cameron is from the team of nationally recognized speakers with 9to5, the National Association of Working Women.
