MICHIGAN TECH, OLIVET COLLEGE ESTABLISH DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM

HOUGHTON-Michigan Tech and Olivet College have signed an agreement to establish a dual degree program whereby an undergraduate may earn three years of academic credit at Olivet and two years of credit at Michigan Tech and receive two degrees--a Bachelor of Arts from Olivet and a Bachelor of Science from Michigan Tech. The program will officially begin with the start of fall classes at both schools.

Students enrolling in the Dual Degree Program may seek B.S. degrees in any of the following disciplines from Michigan Tech: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, metallurgical engineering, or geological engineering.

Each institution will have a primary contact person who will act as the internal liaison within his/her respective organization to facilitate management of the program and to serve as the liaison with the partner organization.
