Staff Service Recognition Program To be eligible for the Staff Service Recognition Program, you must have completed a 5-year anniversary date in the current fiscal year, based on consecutive years of service. For details about current fiscal year eligibility, visit: (see attached Eligibility Dates). Eligible staff may choose either Recognition Days (paid days off--one full day is equal to 8 hours) or Michigan Tech Gift Certificates ("Tech Bucks").If you are a part-time employee who meets the above criteria, the amount of the award received is determined by prorating the appropriate award by your FTE (full-time equivalency).
"Tech Bucks" must be used within a year and can be redeemed on campus at the Memorial Union, Campus Cafe, Campus Bookstore, University Images, Central Ticket Office, Student Development Complex, Mont Ripley Ski Hill, Portage Lake Golf Course, or the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum. Use of Recognition Days must be scheduled with your supervisor, and must be used within a year. |
