Presentation: Shantanu Kulkarni and Ling Guo - Pronunciation Basics for
Chinese and Hindu Languages

Call to order:

Rob Bishop called the meeting to order.

Old Business:

Finance Committee - no report
Emeritus Committee - this committee is meeting.
Making a Difference - Awards presentation Monday, Dec 1, 3 p.m.

New Business:

The campus Work/Life Committee needs a member from Staff Council. If you are
interested, put your name forward before Sept 20.

Cochair position - Rob Bishop accepts the position as Staff Council CoChair.

Campus tour - Allyson Jabusch went on tour and she thought it was really
useful for new staff attending. Even as a long-time staff member, she learned
some new things.
