Staff Council at Michigan Tech assists the University in recognizing outstanding performance and dedicated service by staff members. The Council helps with programs to strengthen skills and professionalism among the staff.

Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 21
Staff Council and the Benefits Office are co-sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, May 21 from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm. The Upper Peninsula Regional Blood Center (UPRBC) will be at the ground floor Ballroom in Douglass Houghton Hall. [ More Information ]

Service Recognition Luncheon Wednesday, June 11
Mark your calendars! Staff Council is pleased to announce that the annual Staff Service Recognition Luncheon will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 12:00 noon in Wadsworth Dining Hall. Staff will be recognized for their years of consecutive service at Michigan Tech. Recent retirees will be honored as well. The staff receiving an award will receive an invitation to attend the luncheon.

Next Meeting - The next Staff Council meeting is set for noon on Thursday, May 15, in Red Metal Room 105B. Dean of the Graduate School Jackie Huntoon will speak about MTU's graduate programs and changes. All interested staff are welcome.
