All Tech undergraduates who have at least one more semester at Michigan Tech at the end of the Spring semester may apply.

Title of Project Idea:

"In a maximum of two pages (using at least 12 point font) describe the research/scholarly/or artistic project you will do this summer with your mentor. The more specific you can be, the better. If you have never done research, talk to your mentor before you write the SURF application to get a sense of what you would do in the summer and why it is important. Please type your response in your text editor of choice and save the file as a PDF. (If your document editor cannot save in PDF format, please either use one of the school's computers to do the conversion for you, or download OpenOffice which has a built in PDF converter.)
