Welcome to the Web site for the Michigan Tech Committee to Enhance Campus and Community (CECC). The CECC was appointed in December 2004 by Michigan Tech President Glenn Mroz in response to University Senate Proposal 9-04, Enhancing the Campus and Community. The purpose of the committee is to generate and to solicit from others suggestions for enhancing the Michigan Tech campus and the surrounding community, particularly in ways that will improve recruitment and retention of students. After posting a list of preliminary ideas to its online forum, between March 16 and May 16, 2005, the CECC received approximately 150 suggestions and approximately 4,000 visits/hits to its forum. The committee's new forum provides an opportunity for commenting on the committee's interim report.Download CECC Interim Report.
