Welcome to the Office of International Programs and Services (IPS) at Michigan Technological University (MTU). MTU is a nationally and internationally recognized university which values the presence and contributions of international students and scholars at our campus.

MTU offers unique, culturally enriched and strong academic experiences to international students and scholar who come from over 72 countries of the world. With a strong commitment to international education and global diversity, the university has devoted resources and programs to create an inclusive and productive environment for international populations.

The staff of International Programs and Services (IPS) is a team of professionals, eager to offer quality programming to accomplish the goals of internationalization. IPS team is committed to providing diverse services to international populations including international admissions processing, issuance of immigration documents, immigration advising, special orientations and workshops for new students and educational and cultural programs.

IPS encourages U.S. students to become globally competent through their interactions with international students, study abroad and exchange programs opportunities. We are proud of personal and academic achievements of international students and are cognizant of contributions of current international students and international alumni.
