Transfer Students
To apply online, please follow these steps in order. There is no application fee.
1. Complete and submit undergraduate application. Application is available HERE. There is no application fee.2. Indicate interest in being considered for the International Ambassador Scholarship on the application form.
3. Complete and submit the Certification of Finance Form. A recent, official bank statement, or a notarized or certified letter of support from the student's sponsor is also required; either should be dated no more than 8 (eight) months prior to initial enrollment term. SEND ORIGINAL
4. Submit English Proficiency Test score.

5. Request official transcripts to be sent from all the secondary and any post-secondary schools (if applicable) you have attended.
6. Complete and submit the Current Enrollment Course List Form
7. Copy: picture page of passport; include copy with sent documents.
US Transfer Students
To apply online, please follow steps 1-7 above and in order. There is no application fee.
If an international student is currently enrolled in an educational program in the U.S., (graduate, undergraduate or ESL/English as a Second Language Program) a transfer of immigration documents must be initiated by the current school. If admitted to Michigan Tech, such students will receive instruction on how to request the I-20 transfer. Complete Transfer In Form
(Saudi Arabian students wishing a U.S. transfer MUST go through the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission for approval)
NOTE: if student’s application is being handled by an agency, all permissions for the agency to send and receive sensitive documents must be included on a separate sheet in the applicant’s file. The student’s REAL and complete home address must be included on the application form, including postal code. Mailing address may be that of the agent or sponsor to whom documents will be sent.
