  1. Release Time.

    2. Representatives of the Union, upon request to and approval by the Director of Labor, shall be granted reasonable release time to process grievances and handle other matters pertaining to this Agreement as specified below without loss of earnings.

    1. Steward - investigate grievances, participate in first step grievance procedures, and handle other matters pertaining to this Agreement.

    2. District Representative - participate in second and third step grievance procedures within the district.

    3. The President, or designee - participate in third step grievance procedures.

    The office of the Director of Labor will notify supervisors when release time is needed for employees.
