Section 20 UNIFORMS

1. The University shall provide each full-time employee and each part-time employee with a complete niform and an annual maintenance allowance of four hundred dollars ($400.00) per year for full-time employees and a pro-rated amount per year for part-time employees. This uniform allowance shall be paid on a separate check, quarterly on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. In the event that any of the quarterly dates fall on either a weekend or a holiday, such quarterly payments shall then be made on the day preceding either the weekend or holiday.

2. If at any time while in the performance of his/her duties an employee so damages, destroys, or loses any personal property or department-issued uniform items, the University will pay the total cost of such replacement or repair; provided, however, any damage, destruction or loss was not caused by negligence of the employee. Disputes will be resolved using the grievance procedure.
