  1. Personal Time Off.
  2. On August 1, of each year, employees will be granted personal time off based on an employee’s seniority date after successfully completing probation.

    Personal time off may be used in one (1) hour increments and shall be taken at the convenience of the department, office or division in which the employee works. The University insures the employee the opportunity to use personal time off hours. Unused personal time off cannot be carried over into the following year or paid out upon termination of employment from the University.

    Part-time and 9/10 month employees will be granted personal time off in proportion to the straight time hours employed.

    Employees will be granted personal time off based on their seniority date as of August 1, as follows:

    Time Worked Hours Granted
    After completion of probation 8 hours
    Year 1 through Year 15 8 hours
    Year 16 and subsequent years 10 hours
