Human Resources Information Systems
The HR staff includes one employee that is designated to
serve as liaison to the Information Technology (IT) department in the service of
personal computers in the office. All mainframe (hardware and software) service
is handled by the IT department. This office is responsible for creating all
reports of personnel information that are used by various departments on campus
and in the HR office. The HR office is responsible for defining software elements
in the payroll/personnel system and work closely with technical representatives
from IT in maintaining those items, troubleshooting and resolving problems with the system.
