Smoke-Free Environment

Smoking is prohibited in all University buildings, unless accommodations have been made to provide separate ventilation for a designated smoking area. Residence halls select a policy through their own governance process.

All employees, students and visitors share in the responsibility for adhering to and enforcing this policy (MTU Policy and Procedures Manual).
