Michigan Tech's registered trademarks are "Michigan Technological University," "Michigan Tech," "MTU," "Huskies," the official University seal, the Michigan Tech logotype, the Huskies seal, the Huskies script, and Husky Dog. Any other design, symbol, drawing, seal, word, or group of words that have become associated with the University may also function as trademarks.

The use or display of any of these symbols requires approval from UR. The use of the MTU name, logos, seals, and/or other symbols of Michigan Technological University in any commercial venture requires prior written approval from the Intellectual Property Office.
