Seaman Mineral Museum

Seaman Mineral Museum, located on the 5th floor of the Electrical Energy Resources Center (EERC) building, is the home to one of the nation's premier collections of crystals, minerals, and ores from around the world. The museum contains approximately 60,000 specimens, including the world's finest display for Michigan's copper and iron mining history. The state of Michigan has designated the Seaman Mineral Museum the official "Mineralogical Museum of Michigan." Tours are available for a minimal fee.
