The Fredrick D. Williams Instructional Innovation Award is intended to recognize the exceptional efforts of faculty members who have made extraordinary contributions to the development of the instructional mission of the University in the design, or redesign, of one or more of its educational offerings. The Evaluation Committee recognizes and values the efforts of faculty members in 1) developing new and innovative approaches to instruction and/or in 2) identifying, adapting, implementing, and assessing instructional innovations developed by other educators.
To support the nomination, please provide a comprehensive description of the contribution made by the person you are nominating . Be as specific as you can in demonstrating how their effort meets the criteria of representing an extraordinary contribution to developing Michigan Tech’s instructional mission. You may also request that nominees provide supporting documentation of their activities and to provide evidence of the positive effects of those efforts.
