The Michigan Tech Academy of Teaching Excellence was established in 1998 by the Michigan Tech Center for Teaching, Learning, and Faculty Development in recognition of the inductee’s continuing dedication to the University’s teaching mission. The membership is comprised of the finalists for the annual Distinguished Teaching Awards and the Fredrick D. Williams Instructional Innovation Award.
