Thermostat Setting Guidelines

Corridors, Stairwells, Atriums                                                               65°F

 

Classrooms, Laboratories, Lecture Halls                                               68°F

 

Offices, Conference Rooms                                                                  70°F

 

 

 

 

We can review the guidelines for the following:

 

A.                 ‘Computer’ Labs – Dependent on heat load, occupancy, and ventilation schedule, we could set the target higher than 68°F.

 

B.                 Pilot Plants/High Bay Areas – Dependant on thermostat location and the effects of temperature stratification, some of these areas could be set lower than 68°F guideline.
