The guest speaker for the 2001 annual spring dinner was Gary Anderson, President and CEO of Dow Corning in Midland, Michigan.

After the dinner, greetings were extended by MTU President Dr. Curt Tompkins along with an interesting update on recent happenings on the MTU campus.

Board Member elections were also held at the Annual Spring Dinner. The following board members were elected for two year terms expiring in April 2003:
