The MTU West Michigan Chapter is always looking for new event ideas. Last year, we decided to give Marie a try, and what a treat it turned out to be! Because this was such a popular event in 2006, we decided to do it again this year. And it turned out to be even more popular this year than last...
Many of you will remember Marie as the former owner of Marie's Deli in downtown Houghton. She and her son Fouad opened their new restaurant at the corner of Lake Drive and Diamond Street in Grand Rapids about two years ago and have found their offerings to be very popular here in Grand Rapids. Marie's was named "Best New Business" in the 16th Annual Neighborhood Busines Awards presented by the Grand rapids Neighborhood Business Specialists Program.
