The Provost and Vice President
for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of the University and is
responsible for working with students, faculty, staff, and administrators in the
conceptualization, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of
academic programs and services.
The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs acts as chief executive
officer in the absence of the President, and is also responsible for:
Functions:
- •Oversees all academic colleges and schools
- •Outcomes Assessment
- •Oversees all Branch Campuses
- •Annual Curriculum Review
- •Effective Implementation of the Academic Calendar
- •General Education
- •Distance Learning (Academics)
- •Faculty Promotion and Tenure
- •Periodic Program Review
- •And other aspects of the internal operations and administration of the University.
