9.8.3 Gates Tennis Center

The Gates Tennis Center is located adjacent to the Student Development Complex and is available for use by both members and non-members. The center features four tennis courts and men's and women's locker rooms and shower facilities. Also featured is a pro shop with a complete selection of racquets and stringing capabilities, as well as other tennis items. During the winter hours, cross-country ski equipment is available for rental. MTU's cross-country ski trails are located behind the Gates building. During certain times of the year, classes, clinics, and team practices are held, so be sure to call ahead for times and prices (487-2774) or visit the center.
