Paper bonds are no longer available through Michigan Tech Payroll Services. You can continue to purchase savings bonds using Treasury Direct. This convenient and secure web-based system allows participants to purchase, manage, and redeem electronic (paperless) savings bonds online 24/7. Paper savings bonds will remain available for purchase at financial institutions and the U.S. Treasury Department will continue to provide service and support to all U.S. bond holders.
We encourage you to learn more about how to establish a Treasury Direct account, by visiting http://www.treasurydirect.gov/ to take a guided tour of the system or contact the Treasury Retail Securities site at 1-800-553-2663 (select Menu Option 7, then Option 5) to speak with a customer service representative.
